Dichroic Fused Art Glass Originals

My fused glass jewelry is designed and hand crafted one piece at a time in my studio in the mountains of Colorado. Each individual piece of dichroic art glass is cut, carefully layered and fired in my kiln at temperatures up to 1500 degrees. The firing takes 12 hours, and often requires several firings to achieve the effects I am looking for. All of the pieces are kiln annealed for strength.

Dichroic glass was developed by NASA for the space program. It is a Greek word meaning two colors. Because of the properties of dichroic glass and the alchemy that takes place in the kiln, I never know what the final piece will look like until it comes out of the kiln. I can make an educated guess, but it is still a guess.

Our pricing is calculated by the weight of the piece.  Going just by the measurement is not accurate as some of the pieces have more layers and therefore are heavier.
